Stories are written for three age bands — 2–3, 4–5, and 6–8 — so the words, length, and detail fit your child. It is especially handy between two and five, when routines and firsts come thick and fast.
Is this just more screen time?
ReadyTales is made for reading together. Read from the page in your own voice, or tap read-aloud and follow the highlighted words side by side. Bedtime mode keeps the page warm and dim for lights-out.
What details should I share about my child?
Just enough to make the story feel familiar: a first name or nickname, a favorite toy, who will be there, and what happens next. Fictional names work beautifully too, and we recommend leaving out anything sensitive.
Can I write the story myself?
Yes. Write chapter by chapter in your own words for free, then add an illustration to any chapter for 1 credit. If you would like a hand, ReadyTales can polish the read-aloud flow while keeping your story yours.
How much does it cost?
